Steven has considerable experience in marketing and broadcasting media. While living in Vancouver, he hosted a daily radio show in Mandarin for Fairchild Radio and occasional TV shows for TalentVision. Following his graduation from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, he spent a few years in Beijing and Shanghai working for Sony Music and Hit FM, China’s only Top 40 radio station.

Steven now calls Toronto home and has been a senior marketing advisor with Desjardins Group since 2013. Inspired by his friend and mentor Dr. Alan Li, one of the leading researchers on Project PROTECH, Steven joined the volunteer team for the project in the hope to put his knowledge in
marketing and media to good use. He has been a team member in the media and community engagement group, working on promotion for Protech town halls and helping out with outreach, hosting interviews and editing videos for the Community Partners’ Showcase series. Thank you, Steven!
