Local Calls for Action
The negative effects of COVID-19 have disproportionately impact on many marginalized communities that were already struggling with less access to support and resources.
Signing petitions are a great way to remotely lend support to causes that you are passionate about! To support other community efforts and call for action here are some links:

Toronto’s emergency measures have increased police/by-law officer powers to enforce social distancing. Consider signing this petition on the expansion of police powers (in particular, the mandatory identification production order that can disproportionally affect marginalized groups)
Change.Org is a great way to see what advocacy work is being done near you!
